Another day at school – felt bit better today – things starting to make more sense, possibly my ear is starting to get used to listening to the sounds, still can’t think quickly enough to string a sentence together. The Japanese have been very friendly and always look pleased to see you, we try to have a conversation often. In the class I have tried to get all the different languages to write my name in their language – some of the writing is beautiful, especially Arabic and Thai.
Tonight on the way home caught the wrong bus – went a little way got off then tried to get back on to my line! Ended up walking 90% home – got here about 6:45!! Nevermind it was a beautiful night still about 22 degrees then. I have just watched Wheel of Fortune in French – I am no good at it! Interesting few changes to the procedure! Just heard Grey’s Anatomy is on tonight! (I pick up the important stuff) It will be hiliarious in French voice overs! Maybe I have already seen it so it will help my understanding! I believe they are behind over here!
Tried to watch Shortland Street on demand yesterday – but it is only for New Zealand viewers – so I emailed saying I am a New Zealand viewer just not at home! I got lovely email back saying hard luck basically and they are trying to look into how to screen it to people like me but then more computer geek !!! I thought it would be good to while away some time – but I did read Craig has died etc… I am trying to keep up with major news too, not just garbage!
Did some homework – verb conjugation…..and now looking forward to tonights tv!
Can’t believe been here for over a week and 2 weeks since I left home – it has gone relatively quickly, Another 24 more sleeps before I feel complete again!!!
