Very boring day – Spent the day checking off list of things I want brought over. Sorting out cupboards, that didn’t take long as not much in any! Sorting out receipts, pamphlets, brochures and all the stuff you pick up!
The furthest I went was to the boulangerie for bread for tea. That is 1 block!
I have also spent a bit of time trying to work out my first lesson with the 4 year olds! Spent longer thinking and organising than I will to teach it!
It is getting darker her earlier now, quite dark by 7:45. The weather has been warmer last few days – 16/17 and have not had rain for a while. Touch wood! I think the forecast though is rain on Thursday – typical!
Have list of things to do in next few days, so hopefully that will make the next few days go quick!!
I don’t know how people live alone – makes me think in a new light what it must be like for Dad and others who live on their own. It is so incredibly boring and mundane. No wonder he has no idea what day it is – they are all the same! I do hope he is OK and will get up to Wanaka to my sister and brother. I can’t bear the thought of him all forgotten about in the busyness of everyone else’s lives.
A shame he isn’t computer literate otherwise he could be reading this!
