Couldn’t wait to get down to uni today to find out what class and times my course will be next week. However, there was nothing posted on the board, the professor didn’t say anything so at the end of class I asked him, he had no idea. But…classes are supposed to change and be starting on Monday – this is 4:00 Friday and they can’t tell me. We went to find the organiser – gone, so the best guess is they start on Tuesday! How annoying and not very well organised. If this just impacted me it would be OK but when I may have to rejuggle all the schools and their timetables again it isn’t really satisfactory having not much notice. Will wait and see what Monday brings.
It was really cold on the way home today and as I was walking I remembered a cold Oamaru winter and walking home after the day at the netball courts where a group of us would call into a great fish and chip shop – get a $1 chips with tomato sauce, shake the bag up and eat them as we continued our walk. Where they warmed our hands and our bodies. It really made me long for some!
