Have news that I am off to the Lycee St Jean - A high/ technical school for 15-19 year olds! EEEkkkkk!!!!!
What a change dealing with teenagers - no experience there! I hope they realise what they are getting - a primary teacher who is there to learn French.
I will be staying in a school flat - not the host family I had been promised, this is disappointing as I had been led to believe that I would get to immerse myself in a family style environment. After all that is why I am going to France - to learn the language and understand typical daily family life / customs/ traditions/ food/ arrangements/ activities etc...
I don't want to sit in a room all on my own not experiencing any of this. How lonely and so not what I signed up for! I suppose there are pros and cons either way.
Feeling very nervous - a bit of a control freak - not sure what to expect and of course aware that my language is very - very basic!
Will check this works as all new to blogging too!
